Target Practice Plus

Challenge 1.

8 – 1 = 7;

7 x 25 = 175;

175 + 5 = 180.

A more concise solution: 8 x 25 – 20 = 180.

Challenge 2. 109 = 7 x 10 + 25 + 12 + 2, and there are others using five of the set. My best solution is 7 x 12 + 25.

Challenge 3. 289 = (23 x 13) – (50/5), and I found five others using five members of the set. I have yet to find one using four. Did you?
